Seeing that iron stand makes me chuckle that people use sooooooo many 2x4s, 2x6s and one here 2x12s to build their stands...

Nice tank

yea i know right haha the stand i have here is banged up rusted an dosnt even look like it could hold me it probaly could but i like wood stands better and i like to build things so this is ganna be a fun project

yea unfortantly iv had thunder showers the past few day an an havent even started but tomorrow looks good

nice size tank. enjoy the build and the best part is that you enjoy while you build it cause other wise it seems to much work.

Nice Tank can't wait to see how you build the stand. Trying to build one myself for a 108 tank.

Nice dimensions on that 150. I like wood stands a lot better because you can make them look like (and actually BE) nice pieces of furniture that complement your house, your other furniture, and hide tank supplies, all while still fulfilling its primary purpose of holding up 1,000+ lbs of water...

yea ill enjoy building it and this time ill take a little more time on it an not rush into things like i did my last project for my 90 gallon.the best part is when i wanna upgrade the dementions are the same as a 180 the 180 is just taller.so fare the dementions on the stand are 730 n ahalf by 26 an a half and 30 tall ill make it out of 4x4s and oak plywood so far so good and dcs feel free to post some pictures of your stand for the 108

so far i have all of the frame done and ready to be put togeather here are some pictures of what i have done so far and some pictures of brute and layla that wouldnt leave me alone with the ball
