alright so i just bought a 150g and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what i should put in there

It really depends on what you like !
We all could suggest fish for you but if you dont like any of the suggestions , its a waste of time for us to start listing a great stock for you .
What fish do you like ?
Do you want a community of small fish ? ( Like ~ Tetras , Barbs , Guppys , Cory , Ect ) .
Or a community of larger fish ? ( like ~ Oscars , Severums , Acara , Jack Dempsy , Ect ) .
Is it SA/ CA Cichlids you like/ want ?
Or African , Or Some sort of Oddball type fish ?
Do you want Fresh or Saltwater ?
Do you want Plants in the tank ?
The List of questions could go on but if you please could answer these few for now it would help us all a big amount .
What i probily would do is a ~ Semi planted with a few rocks and a small amount of wood with fish like - Clown Pleco , Cory , Twig Catfish , Danio , Tetra , Hachet Fish , Barbs , Rainbow fish and then maybe a little more later on .

A African Community , with the tank full of rocks .

crenicichla aka pike cichlids all the way. sith some other SA cichlids and spotted silver dollars.
what are the dimensions? 150s come in several shapes:
48x24x30
72x18x27 or 29 depending on the manufacturer
60x24x24
that makes a difference for your stocking..

back on topic get a shoal of red bellied piranhas! in a 150 you could get atleast 6... or 7 or 8 (make sure to over filter )
