I set up a 150 in my media room this weekend. I ended up using an eheim 2080 with cycled media.
I added a few fish and bought this one that they called a red devil but when i got it in the tank and it settled in I noticed that it is not a red devil. Or at least all red devil. He has a grayish blue tinge above the lateral line and five spots starting at the caudal fin forward. He is also quite peaceful. The link below has some pics of him and the tank.

Also I saw the pic in your signature. I have two mini dachshunds a long hair and a short hair
both black and tan dapples

I was going to make a joke about the oscar:) Not quite sure but it could be a barred Midas. Not certain though. Thought it was flowerhorn at first but looked again and saw darker spots.

yeah I am sure its a hybrid, The term flowerhorn is a generic term for any hybrid fish. the hobby has accepted the name Flowerhorn as almost a new species. The fish were developed in the early 90s in asia. No one knows the root species. I was thinking that maybe it was a Archocentrus, septemfasciatum.

i was thinking a flowerhorn hybrid (i know the flowerhorn itself is a designed hybrid).. regardless its a nice fish.

I say it is a FH too since they have all these different "Flowerhorns" these days...

BTW freakin awesome setup, best use of bogwood that size i seen in a long time! really gorgeous
