Would this list be considered grossly overstocked for a well filtered 180 gal.?:

2 Oscars
1 Jack Dempsey
1 Green Terror
1 Lima Shovel Nosed Catfish
1 Common Plecostomus

If it is too many help me narrow it down. If not do you see any compatibility or other issues.

Thanks alot in advance.

I think you'll be ok as long as they are all about the same size...

They will work out just fine, as long as the oscars don't pair up...and even if they do, should still have breathing room. There are tons of other fish out there though, so don't limit yourself to what you can have in there...;)..... www.tangledupincichlids.com has a WIDE selection of fun fishies!

looks like a great stocking plan

personally I'd do only 1 oscar. if you wind up with 2 males there's a good chance they may fight over territory as they get bigger. the tank being a 180 may provide enough room for them to avoid each other but I'd keep an eye out. there's also the possibility you may wind up with a male and female who decide to pair up and breed like Peanut suggested. this would be very bad for your other fish in there because a breeding pair of oscars will probably need a very large territory, especially as they approach their adult size. now, if you happened to wind up with 2 females then you should be ok, though there have been instances reported of 2 females pairing up and going into spawning mode/aggression which could also lead to problems. so, all that being said I'd only go with 1 oscar and maybe add a severum instead and you should have a very nice tank. :)
