I just bought a new 180 gallon tank. It will be delivered in about a week or so and I'm still brainstorming as to what i'm going to keep in it. I'm thinking a nice african cichlid set up but I'm still on the fence. Any suggestions?

Also, if I decide to go with Africans, how many could I keep?

I'm gonna be real honest here and say that a 180 is waste if you just gonna keep africans in it. Big tanks need big fish. If your gonna keep africans get a 55 or a 75 gallon. But id say u can keep alot of africans in a 180 but it depends on the type of african your gonna keep

Fail to see how a 180g with a colony of frontosa could be considered a waste of a tank:screwy:

BTW AQUAMONSTER what do you know about keeping anything in a "Big Tank" you ever had one?

Yes i do i have a 150 and just got a used 300 gallon. U never said what type of africans u wanted to keep
