New 180g tank

I got a new tank and will need to build a stand. In the meantime I need to pick your brain for filtration setup. The tank has two corner overflow but bottom is not drill. What is the purpose of a overflow if it's not drill?

its not drilled soo say u just wanted to put on two fluval FX5's u could hide the intakes for example. or u could drill it to ur spec's. if it was my tank i would drill it and run a berlin style sump with a uv stariliver on the return line

It's setup that way so if you want to drill it you can and set it up how you want. Doing a DIY Sump is easy. Make sure to use a filter sock. The sump above just copy The design. Make your own for almost nothing out of a used tank. Intake in the overflow from a canister filter won't filter a tank too well.
