well for awhile now i've been searching for a new tank and happen to stumble across a 180g on craigslist. called the guy and picked it up the same night. not to shabby for $360 w/ a homemade stand. i really wanted to put the tank in my room so i tossed the stand in there first and what do you know. perfect fit. the fitment was so close that i was laughing hardcore. anyways after cleaning the tank as best as i could, i put it in the room. after that i thought about what i was gonna do about filtration so i went with a DIY Sump. bought a 2200gph ViaAqua pump and 300watt ViaAqua heater. used a 30g bin and rubbermaid containers and it was ready to go. built a standpipe for the overflow box and went ahead and filled it. stand creeked hardcore which made me nervous but filled up perfectly. after about 2 weeks of circulating i threw in my LMB then as the days went on i added a few fish at a time. 2 days ago i threw in the aro and hes loving it. anyways heres the pics and enjoy

lol thanks guys for the comments. I like the tank alot. its simple and nice with a variety of fish. my bichir is pretty mellow and hides behind that structure all day. i was worried about the water current in the tank. 2200 created alot more current than i thought but all the fish have managed it besides the bichir but once he gets bigger he'll be good.

Nice
