New 200 gallon tank

I just bought a used 200 gallon tank on Craigslist. Any suggestions on cleaning off water stains, old algae stains, etc?

I used a razor blade , it takes very long and is tiring. I hope someone mentions a better method for the benefit of you and me

I cleaned my tank with a vinegar and water mix plus a lot of elbow grease. Only use razor blade if it's glass.

I took mine to the car wash and used there pressure washer on the nasty stuff It did an awesome job then I took it home and scrubbed for about half an hour and it looked as good as new with not a lot of effort

Get one of those handles for the razor blades, your hands will thank you.

Lol yes a few had the what the hell? Look on there face it was funny but took all of about 15 mins with the pressure washer to blow the nasty out of it

I use a 1:3 vinegar and water mix to rinse/wash initially, then grab a razor blade and get whatever is left on the glass.

I always use a bit of bleach on all new(used) tanks. Add, fill, let it sit for a water test, drain and spray rinse.

For coralline vinegar and time....
