New 20g Freshwater, Need Help!

Im getting a 20g freshwater for my dorm room and Im not sure who would go well with my selections. I plan on a school of Tiger Barbs (5 maybe) and a red fin shark, other than that im stumped! Any criticism, help, suggestions would be greatly appreciated! My Names LJ by the way, Im new to MFK!

red fin shark can be territorial and agressive..not a good community tank...never add an angelfish to your barbs...tiger barbs are fin nippers...get some research on each fish you plan to add...Life is not a game..be responsible and make them comfortably happy...

okay i have a 20 gallon right now what are u planing on doing cichlids or community?

if u go cichlids i would get a breeding pair of cons then a couple neons or some fast little tetras!!

if u want to stiick with the barbs i would get 5 tigers and clown pleco and a school of 6-15 neons once the tank is set!!!! maybe a couple of mystery snails to add some bottom movement or also u could get 2 pictus catfish

If you plant the tank, the barbs and some tetras will look really good.
