I just got a new 210 gallon fish tank:headbang2. I would really like to do a south american setup in it with a stingray. Nothing really special just something that looks cool. I would probably do a hystrix due to the fact I am still in college and money is tight.

Filtration seems to be my biggest problem. I have an FX5 now on my 125 that I am going to sell. The tank is drilled on the bottom with one hole on both sides. I am looking at doing a 75 gallon diy sump but I would also want to keep my fx5. I am just stuck wondering how I would do it so I could still keep the filtration per hour high. So if you guys have any ideas let me know.

Background Color: I was looking at doing a black or a blue background. I did not know what would bring the fish's color out more.

Substrate: I will probably do sand or fine rock. I have not decided what color yet. I will also probably put some drift wood in there with it.

The tank will not be set up for the next couple months yet because I want to reseal it when it gets warmer outside. Right now the stand is just an iron frame. I was considering building around it with wood or wrapping it with black metal and make doors out of a satin color metal. I am still in the beginning process and would just like to know what you guys think.
