I'm kinda new to the fish tank craze and must admit I'm hooked. I started 6 months ago with a 50 gallon and peaceful fish. I just prchased a 220 gallon freshwater setup. I would like some ideas or recommendations for the fish. I'm leaning towards a couple of Colombian Sharks so I'll probably go brackish later. Any ideas of tankmates? Is there a brackish Puffer that is okay as a mate? Love to hear all your input. Nothing that is too difficult to maintain. Open to all ideas.

I have a brackish tank, not real hard to take car of just kind of a pain when all the others are just empty, vac, treat and fill. But with the brackish you have to have a salt mix to mix in while filling with the freshwater.

Most puffers will nip fish to death if they are friendly. Mean puffers usually finish the job faster.

Keep the puffer well fed! I've heard they like the taste of Catfish just as much as we do! Mollies are great in brackish water... Dragon/Violet Goby or Bumblebee goby maybe?
