So i had the guys lift and set up my new 220G 😖

It's in all new water with my old filter running, getting a canister tomorrow, but will the fish be okay?

Also still scared of it somehow crashing through the floor😰 it's upstairs in my room.

12" Arowana and Bichir 😓

With an established filter (cycled media), you should be fine. I haven't cycled any of the tanks I've set up since around 2012. When I set up the filter on a new tank, I just take some biomax out of one of my established filters, and use it in the new filter (I have an FX5 and an FX6 on my 220, so I can completely fill a smaller filter with cycled media, and just use the fresh media to replace what I removed). Instant cycled tank.

But yeah, I would also be a bit worried about having that much weight on a second floor, depending on how you have it placed in relation to the floor beams... Check out this thread.

Some of the old tank water would have helped.
All you can do now is make sure the params stay stable.
Nice upgrade.

You'll be fine. If you have an established filter of any kind (sponge, canister, HoB) then you're instantly cycled. Don't know why people wih multiple tanks feel the need to add ammonia for a month instead of just adding a mature sponge.

You'll have an instant cycle, especially with the light bioload/bigger water volume.

If you are worried, get a bottle of SeaChem Stability and a bottle of Prime and use them both on the tank.

As for the tank coming through the floor/ceiling, I would definitely see what your house is rated at for the upstairs in terms of load bearing capability.

My 75g upstairs worry me lol. As far as cycling you're fine. Just don't go nuts with adding fish for a while.

Congrats on the upgrade! I wouldn't be overly worried about the tank weight if its against a wall and is perpendicular to the floor joists, unless its a very old house. Of course I'm not a contractor so what do I know...lol
