I've got a new tank coming next weekend. Totally psyched. It is sold as a 240. I say it's 233 - and it should be sweet. It is 72"l x 30"d x 25"h and will be set up as an amazon for the most part. Pbass, dats, arowana and rays. I am consolidating 4 other tanks that I have so there will be a few oddballs for a while - geophagus, monos, monster plec and my two large shark cats.
I plan on using my 3 Eheim Pro 3's for filtration with an additional fluidized sand filter. The sand filter is a new item for me but I like what I have read about the TMC V2 model 1500 at American Aquarium Products. I am also considering the TMC Reverse Osmosis system. The only equipment would be inline heaters and UV sterilizers.
i welcome your comments an feedback on this setup. The only thing new to what I have today are the fluidized sand filter and the RO. Although I am very tempted by some of the equipment at aquaticeco.
