So I've decided to consolidate tanks. I'm going to combine my dats with my pbass into a 240. I'm trying to decide between a 60x36x25 and a 72x30x25. There's also a 72x24x31 but I don't see any need for he height. Any advice?

For Bass length is more important than width imo. swim room :)

The rule of thumb is the tank needs to be wider than the basses length. Tems, Azul & Pinima, need at least a 36" depth, kels, monos, orinos, ocell, & xingu need 24-30+" as adults. I like 96" length minimum for all of them. Height is probably the least important, 24" is fine. But in the end it matters how many you plan on keeping for total tank size.
