Hi, a friend is selling a new 240 gallon tank and i thought some of you monster fish keepers might be interested. she never got a chance to set it up and now has to move. it is tank and stand but it doesn't have the lights. i can through in a used, good condition, emporer 400 filter to make up for it. i can actually probably through in an extra 400 emporer and a 280, but i haven't tested them. i'm sure they work, but i'm not sure how well. i got them from a friend and only set up one of the 400s. anyway, i would think this should outweigh the lights because the regular florescent lights that come with the 240 are usually insufficient with 2 x 20wats. $999 for everything obo.

i will try to check back here often, but it's better to use my email at cro117@msn.com if you are interested.

Glass or acrylic? I'm thinking glass.....

8x2x2?

Also what City in So.Cal?

thank you for making me feel stupid house.

i'm almost positive the tank is glass. it's the standard 8x2x2. not sure if the acrylics are the same dimensions or not. she has a shop in lancaster, but the tank is in Lake La.

 Opps..... sorry. Just trying to help your sale.... pretty standard questions you'll get from the forum members anyway, I just was the early bird.

i was just messing around, i appreciate you asking. they are pretty important questions. glass or acrylic was a pretty stupid thing not to mention.

I checked out that website..... very cool stuff! I've been looking around for some of those exotic livebearers! Need to set up a nice community tank then I'll be visiting! I book marked the site!

my friend is willing to go down to $800 but it needs to be picked up by this weekend.

she is willing to go as low as $600 if it can be done tomorrow, but i'm not sure how that can be organized so soon. if you can email me in the morning maybe, i'll probably head to her shop later tomorrow. you can try calling her shop number 940-5200.
