New 270 G

Added a new 72x36x24 to my fish room a couple weeks ago. Same as my 360, except 2 feet shorter. Also switched all my pumps to laguna.

360 gallon filtration:
Fx5 w/ turbotwist 12x
125G sump with 2x laguna 2400s

270 gallon filtration:
Fx5 w/ turbotwist 12x
120G sump with laguna 4280

Sorry for poor lighting, I sold my old LEDs. New ones should be here within the next two weeks. Also just fed them, water is a bit dirty from vitachem/massivore. Ill try to open up the windows and take some shots tomorrow. Also working on adding pothos, finally recieved my hydroton clay pebbles.

Nice Chizzle, Im looking to replace my 125g with an acrylic tank that size.

Thanks! Acrylic is definitely the way to go, but currently out of my price range. I will definitely be getting some acrylic monster tanks when I have a house of my own. The 270 replaced my old 150 72x20x24.

I got my 300 8x2x2.5 for $500, you just gotta watch craigslist, but the aros look like they love the extra width.

Good deal, yeah that's the 360 they're in. It replaced an old 240 around August 2012. All my tanks are brand new from the factory. I did pretty good on my 270 gallon, my uncle owns a pet store and he helped me order it. I learnt my lesson from getting my 360 through a middle man. Really big price difference.

Love the tig! And im really diggn the big azuls.
Nice sumps as well....didnt spare anything there.

NOw how about some sump vids or pics explaining what ya got in there on each tank. ANd the stocks. And wc schedule. Im always curious to see the "motor" of other monster tanks.
 
Acrylic is awesome except for the fact that it scratches up real easily, especially if you have big decorations that could scratch it.

acrylic is great for moving and cutting holes into. i perfer glass for everything else.
