New 270 gallon characin tank

Can wait to see this setup, really considering getting this setup as well. Thoughts on obstructed view of stingrays and arowanas in this tank.

I feel like top swimmers might get cut off on view more then bottom since the viewing panel isnt exactly in the middle of the tank it is positioned slightly lower.....but I guess this also depends on how high you are filling the water.....tank is 24 inches....top of window is 20 inches.....I plan on filling it up to 21 inches so about 240 gallons roughly
 
What are you doing about a stand and how are you going to cover it? I love the idea of a cheaper tank like this but not fond of what it will look like in the end. Curious to see what you do with it. I would love to get an aimara but would need to get something like this for it.
 
4x4s for stand ....cover with Styrofoam insulation sheet with plywood on top.....you can easily box these in with drywall and make them look like an in wall tank.....you would be surprised at how nice you could make it with a little tlc
 
Looks much better than I expected. Can't wait to see how the 600 looks. Good purchase.
