Hey I just had a few questions about a 30 gallon ive been planning out. Ive done the community tank for quite a while now and im a bit bored of it. Iv'e researched A TON about these fish and some different options available. I just need some actual input on it. As of now, i have:

20 gallon: 1. Peacock Eel 5.5"
2. 2 killifish 3"
3. Rubber lip pleco 3"
4. Gold Gourami 4"

I am planning on buying a 30 gallon and heres the potential fish/setup id like to have:

30 gallon 1. I would move the peacock into the 30 from the 20.
2. I would also move the rubber lip pleco into the 30.
3. A pair of fire mouth cichlids
or a pair of black convict cichlids
4. Leopard Bushfish (Ctenopoma Acutirostre)
5. Sand Substrate that i also currently use in my 20 gallon.
6. Driftwood and rocks for territory
7. Live plants

I know that these cichlids can be aggresive at times. That is why I chose the bushfish considering it is also a territorial/ midly aggresive species that should work well with either the fire mouths or the convicts. I really like the look of the firemouths but i need an opinion on whether a pair of convicts or firemouths would go better with this setup. I also need an opinion on how my peacock eel is going to do in this setup. I have tried seeing if anyone has kept peacock eels with American cichlids before and havent found anything. Some advice would be great, this is sorta my dream tank for now. Thanks!!!
