New 300 Gallon tank for my umbees

I finally picked up an acrylic 300 gallon for my 4 wild caught umbees I picked up from dan.
I previously had them in a 120 which is now housing a single 3” Dovii

The last picture is of my biggest umbee. Can anyone tell me if it’s a male/female?

Really hard to tell from the pictures but I’m guessing it’s a pair. Why no substrate though?

Well...went to Home Depot and they didn’t have what i was looking for. I was going to drive to Lowe’s but On my way out i locked my keys in the trunk when I was loading up the stuff I bought.

Sooo yeah lol didn’t end up having time after that.
