Enjoy. If you're curious about the build, check out the thread in setup and filtration. Link is in my sig.

Also, the stand isn't complete. I need to find someone who had better tools before I can continue--ie I need to appeal to my girlfriend's dad.

Thanks guys! So much hard work went into this. It feels surreal. Next build is going to be an intek pool build. After that I'm going for something absolutely enormous.

looks good, solve the filter issues yet? the bio wall you create is a good idea but it's restrictions flow in your k1 chamber. going into the k1 chamber does the water enter from the top or bottom? when doing this it's most effective if it enters from a set place, from the top will create a waterfall effect that forces the media downwards creating the swirl effect that your going for. best of luck it all looks good

I hadn't heard that. I don't have anything that restricts the entrance of the flow. I'll give that a shot. I bought everything to properly disperse the air, just haven't gotten around to making it happen. I have had 0ppm ammonia since having added stock. Turns out 2 cubic feet of k1 really does the trick. It's nitrates that I have to worry about, which is strange. Never had an issue with nitrates in the 180. The pothos was always enough. I added even more pothos, but my nitrates are up to 80ish on day 4. Maybe evenly distributing the air will give the system better gas exchange.
Is he a fishkeeper? lol
You're out of luck if he's not into fishkeeper hobby and think you're a wasting time and money kind of guy!;)
He has a beautiful outdoor pond and loves the tank. I had to borrow some tools to build the stand. Plus his daughter and I are madly in love, so there's that :p

Nice. Great natural aquascape :)

Thanks! Another video is coming soon. I shot one last night, but the fish were all trying to sleep. Looks like an HD camera is going to happen in another month or so! Can't wait to make actual quality videos!

:D
