I didn't cure the driftwood before adding it to the tank so I got a lot of tannins.

A quick water change helped show off how the tank will look after the wood releases the majority of it's tannins.

What's up bro? I guess you won't b quitting anytime soon. It's nice to see an old friend with a new tank. I have to ask you. Is that a Molly feeder I see in there? I assumed this is her tank.:D

haha what's up bud!

yeah yeah laugh it up just because I have livebearers :D

They are not the intended residents, but they look good in this tank, the color contrasts to all the green and brown.

They will only be in this tank until I get it's permanent residents. :)

I love your aquascaping.

I tried so hard before to arrange gravel, driftwood, rocks, and plants to look natural and beautiful but they always looked symmetrical and synthetic, not to mention I hated gravel vac-ing, so now most of my tanks are bare.

Very cool set up, I like that wood in the center, it looks like an image of a living thing with mouth open.

I'll admit, the more natural look is growing on me.

Imagine a group of cardinals in that tank.

I setup the tank with a pair of Carinotetraodon in mind though.

There's someone on aquabid with two of the rarest species: C. borneensis, and C. salivator.

But I think i'll go with the common C. irrubesco, because of cost.
