ok 35g stand is comin gin next friday. Im gonna get 50 goldies and throw them in there for the summer cause i go away and my dad works the tanks.

When i get back i rly wanna do a poly setup. I know i dont have much room but some MFKERs said i could get away with 4 senagals. My question is could a breeding pair of convicts maybe live with the polys or no?

o and should i go bear bottom with 2 peices of driftwood

OR

small natrual looking brownish gravel wiht 2 peices of driftwood and a fake plant?

i thought senegals were a pretty active poly, but that's just from my experience. i had a grow out in a 30g that raced around the tank all day. i never saw mine lay around too much, i think they'd like a lot of swimming room. just my 2 cents.

nope..... cons are really territorial and might mess your poly. just to be no the safe side cons...no. a nice sandy bottom with driftwood would look nice.

4 senegals in a 35 is crazy.
I will be on the load limits of my 55 with
1 ropefish
1 Senegal
1 Delhezi
1 Palmas Polli

the 50 goldies isjust to get the ammonia/nitrate cycle going
Why are you not using the fishless cycling method?

why would it be crazy?

Arnt senaguls the ones that max out around 8 inches?
12 inches, not 8 inches. And 4 is still too tight for a 35g. Get one if you must but a 55g is much more preferred than a 35g.
