So i went to petco and got a 40 breeder to breed some salvinis or some other cichlid? Is there a good market for salvinis? Im gonna put 2 or 3 pictus cats in as dithers also.

There are always some people who want them but compared to the popularity of say the FH there probably isn't a comparable market size. You still shouldn't have trouble getting rid of them though
Might pick a different dither. My pictus don't give a crap if my JD nips at them or not, the pictus go where they want. If they see fry swimming they will be all over them. I think with Pictus you're almost guaranteed to have some fry eaten.
Could try a couple small male convicts maybe, or something like a couple small silver dollars. Something fast enough to avoid being beaten up, but smart enough to know that if they do invade the salvini's territory they will be killed. Pictus aren't smart enough in my experience.

I think he was saying you shouldn't have trouble selling them, but you might not get as much as you would for something else.
Where can i order some salvinis online? I wish jeff rapps had them i will be ordering an ex cichlisoma cf. ornatus from him.
