Got this 40 gallon tank and stand and light fixture on Craigslist , it was a good deal so I figured it would make for a nice growout. Then I had to decide on filtration. I didn't want to get too deep in money with this tank so I went with the sun sun canister filter rated for 75 gallons. It does 264 gph. As for heating I went with an Aquatop heater with a built in thermometer/thermostat. Now without spending mega cash I have this 40 gallon I am now using to grow out my endlicheri and two small oscars. For anyone looking to get this canister I got it for $20 it works great so far, easy to put together and it has lots of surface area for media. It also has a spray bar and high quality tubing. For $20 this canister cannot be beat by anything considering price range and efficiency.

I hope so. I think it's aquatop that your thinking of. This is the Chinese version I believe it's called SUN SUN. It seems as though it will hold up.

Tbh even if it leaks its only $20 but they do seem to be ok filters. Lots of media space

Yeah If they leak it's not like I dropped $100 or $200 plus on it. It's so quiet the only way I can tell it's running is by looking at the spray bar pushing water out
