New 400 gallon tank!

So i finally got a need upgrade for my fish. I just got a new 400 gallon tank! Well its new to me anyways. Im upgrading my two peacock bass to it and a gar. I needed some help on filtration and maybe some stock ideas. I was thinking of going with two fx 5 or fx 6. Or one of those and an ehiem 2262. What do you guys think?
 
The problem is that i only have a foot and half under the tank. Would a sump fit down there and not be so crowded for maintenance? And thank you im really exited to set it up. Ive been planning on upgrading for so long and now i finally did! I know my fish are going to be so happy. Oh and i forgot to mention im also putting an indo pacific tarpon in the tank too.
 
What are you going to do when the tarpon gets really really big? I wanted one or more as well but am intimidated by their adult size in my 8x3 tank.
 
Do you have room to place the sump behind or next to the tank?

one day when he does reach a huge size i plan to build a pond for him out in the back yard.

i was thinking of maybe plumbing a sump back behind a corner in my patio. but not quite a sump. i wanted to do what joey mullen did on his monster tank with two big water drums.
