WHST SHOULD I DO WITH THIS 55 GALLON
i have already a 165 gallon,110 gallon, 70 gallon,
if you look at my pics you will see them there is a link on the left

anyway im thinkin some dats or loaches or bass or discus
or all of the above

i know this is a small tank but it is 4 feet long by 18 high by 1 foot deep
so there is some room for sure

this will be a grow out tank for a year and then the big build when im in my new home

what do you guys thimk i should do?
im willing to take sujestions of other fish to

I would think u could use it for all of those, but not necessarily a same time. The pbass and dat will eventually get too big. Especially the pbass. A 55 is prob only good for a growout for pbass. Don't know a lot about pbass- how big will they be in a year? Also, how sure are you that you will really get that new tank in a year? Unless you are 100%, it may be better to hold off on the larger species. Even those loaches will get 10-12" but not for many years.
 
cool i think im going to start with the loaches and then some datnoids and discus

and yes i 100% sure i can get a bigger tank

i already have 3 large tanks on the go

would love the p bass ...if i do this im going to get all the fish as small as possible

anyone else have some ideas or any input feel welcome to keep my thread going
 
ok ok just to prove i can buy a bigger tank i did i purchased a 110 gallon 5 feet long 18 inch deep and 2 feet high
now how should i stock it
my buddy just gave me that tank so i thought id set it up for fun
wich i still will cause im an adict....i need an intervention
so now i will have a 165 ,2 x 110,a 75,and 2x45 gallon tanks i think i have enough room

it does come with all the fish 30 of them

and this is the fish i will have in there one day to grow out with the rest of my new fish.im on a list and im waiting for the call should be in a couple of months

no i wont be putting the ones that come with the tank with this guy
probaly dats loaches and discus maybe a ray on day
im purchasing an acreage and building an indoor pond
well more like my own mini river
trust me this will happen
anyone have any sujestions or other fish i might like to check out for my tank?

Lucky. I was wondering how you were on a list to get an Asian Aro. Maybe one day the powers-that-be in the US will wise up. How does your Jar get along with the CK & FH?
 
well my flower horn is alone now but the jag is like 10" so he prety much kick whos ass he pleases
and i live in an area where aros are legal for sale
i get mine from riverfront aquarium from wayne
he has a shipment coming in and i let him know im seriuos about my fish so he took my name and number and im waiting for the call
one day soooooooooooon.....................
 
a 55 gallon is not small a small tank is 5Gallons- but um id do those at intervals over time not all at the same time but good luck
