I wasn't even looking for a tank today, but I was browsing around Craigslist, and found a 46 gallon Bowfront with filter, heater, canopy, everything for $50. I couldn't resist, so I picked it up.

Since I wasn't planning on a new addition, I'm pretty unsure of what to stock.

I have a 125g up with Dempsey's, RD, Firemouth, Convict, etc.

I've always kept CA Cichlids and am thinking maybe it's time for a Mbuna tank? Planted tank? Or maybe just a tropical community tank?

If I were to go Mbuna, how many/what kind would I have the most success with if I want a bright, active tank?

If you had a 46 gallon tank dropped in your house, what would you do with it? I may be leaning Mbuna, but I'm open to any cool ideas. Since I have a "main tank", I can really take my time and have some fun with this one.

If I had a tank like that suddenly appear I would turn it into a planted tank. Then stock it with black banded sunfish or pygmy sunfish and least killis.

Bowfronts are great for planting
