A week ago I got a Rotkeil Severum from someone locally who was taking their tank down... He is about 5 inches I would guess...

He will not eat anything I put in the tank other than hikari freeze dried krill...

I tried 3 types/sizes of NLS, hikari gold, omega flakes, shrimp pellets, hikari algae, even a few others that i have... He goes for it but spits back out

I feed all my tanks/fish NLS with treats of shrimps and the other pellets... He was on a diet of frozen mysis and frozen krill...

I want him on NLS and treats like my other tanks.. Should I only feed pellets until he eats? Or give in and feed the krill and get frozen stuff? Will he ever eat flakes? How long could it take?

Again only had him a week and he is still very skiddish and shy... Thoughts??

A week isn't that long. When he gets hungry, he will learn to take pellets. My wild notatus refused Hikari pellets for a few weeks after I got them, but eventually they came around. I would just give him a few weeks to settle in. If you want to keep his appetite up, you can feed him once a week with a small amount of the frozen food he likes. I did this with my Sax pike when I was pellet training him.
