New 500L Tank concern??

Hi all

Iam thinking of purchasing a new tank around 500L (which is big in the uk LOL) and have found a regus 500L for sale at £600:confused: I have never heard of this company and was wondering if any one has had any dealings with them and what their tanks are like from a keepers prespective?? Any help would be appreciative saves spending £1200 on a jewel tank!!:WHOA::WHOA:

Cheers which companys are they? The £600 is for lights filter heater and stand I thought it was damn cheap!!
 
Hey there! I'm not sure of which companies Sam's talking about, but he's right - that price is steep! Here is a good page here: http://www.allpondsolutions.co.uk/aquarium-1/fish-tanks/cabinet-aquarium-fish-tanks.html which shows some nice aquariums at reasonable prices! The one i'm getting from there is the one that says 410 litres (although it's a mistake as it should actually say 545 litres - you'll see that by looking at the dimensions). :)

Holy crap youre paying over 900 dollars for a 130 gallon tank?
Thats what I hated about living in England, I could only find small tanks and even then they cost a fortune, I got my 225 gallon over here for less than 100 uk pounds. Obviously it was an amazing deal and I have seen 900 dollar tank and stand combos here, but they were larger over the 200 gallon range!
 
you guys dont realise how lucky you are lol. everything is soooo expensive here. I just spent $1800 on my 180/cabinet/sump package and thats quite reasonable compared to a lot of prices for similar. I cant imagine what it would cost for a 500+ acrylic build!

as for the regus, I've never heard of it. read mixed reviews about the all pond solutions tanks. check out nd aquatics. thats where I got mine

Hi the link you pasted has tanks for the same price 410L for £560. Found out the company is made by JEBO which I have never used any one used these before?? I get the whole cheaper in the states bit but unfortunatley moving there would cost me more than a new tank LOL.....
