well that depends if you want fish that are going to be huge or fish thatare going to be half a foot or so. If it were me, I would get a baby jardini, royal pleco, and baby peacock bass. Once they got big enough, of course switch to a bigger tank. I have taken care of all three of these fish and they were a blast to have. Just make sure u have a hood, I have seen the jardini come to the top for a kill and he overexaggerated it, but he came out of the water lol. But if you want smaller fish, I have always like ghost glass catfish, african and south american cichlids, such as the electric blue.

Hmm, maybe a JD or GT. You could do less aggressive and more fish like rams, kribs, shell dwellers. Or you can go with africans. It's all what you like.

As much as i would love a Jardini I know that I've got no chance of getting a bigger tank for it. My flat mates still haven't seen the 55g and I think they though I was joking when I said how big it is...

I don't know if I want to go for a predatory tank again iv got a pair of Channa Bankenisis with some rainbows In a heavily planted tank.

I do like the idea of shell dwellers, but no nothing about them. Are they prolific breeders like convicts?
