New 65 gal

I just got a deal on a 65 gallon tank, stand and a few accessories for $50.

My question is how long would my gold saum,JD, and firemouth be able to stay in it before needing to be moved? They are currently between 1.75 and 2.75 inches.

they could live in there for life as long as they dont kill each other. if there compatible that size tank will do for life although i suspect that the GT will kill the FM in the end.

Should be fine as long as none are overly aggressive.

Just got home with my tank, took some measurements and it is actually a 55 Acrylic tank. Also for the $50 I got the stand which the tank slides into the back, 3 air pumps with alot of tubing, undergravel filter, 2 Powerheads, Auto feeder, a bunch of fake plants, PC reflector and ballast, and a few other odds and ends

The stand is white but I am planning on painting it black to match my 125 setup. Will post pics later.

Also, what I decided to do is move my Mbuna into this tank and that will free up my 75 for the GT, FM and JD.

I found out that my tank is a TruVu which sales for $300 online so I am very happy with my $50 purchase price!!

they could stay in their for life if you have some pre dece filtration and good hiding spots
the gold saum and dempsey will more then likely out grow and get much bigger then your firemouth though
i probably would add any other fish though, maybe just some dithers and a pleco that's about it.
i'd also do 50% water changes weekly atleast
i sure hope too see some shexy pics posted eventually.

i have 3 jacks (1 male at 6 and 2 females at 4) with 2 small firemouths and they can't get along in a well planted 55 tank. There are plenty of hiding spots but when one moves out, someone else grabs it and they are super competitive when it comes to feeding.
