New 75 gallon!:D

One of my friends is moving into an appartment for college next fall, so he wanted to bring his 75gallon with him, but the landlord said nothing more then 55.. it was a bummer for him of course, but i told him i would trade him my 55 i have for his 75, plus some cash, since its a bigger tank, he agreed for this trade, so now i have my 75 gallon. I put my little 6-7" sen bichir in there, and it is lone ranger for now.. In a previous post i said i wanted a red devil for my 125, but you all warned me it would kill my oscars, so i heeded this precaution.. now i have a 75 with only a bichir, a red devil/midevil could work as a lone fish in here right? i want oneee!
maybe even put like 4 silver dollars for some more movement? Any comments work for me! Thanks

i say go for it. it sounds like you really want one. if it kills the bichir, it kills the bichir and you are left with a loner...but you really want that fish. i would do it. besides, cichlids are less likely to be aggressive toward non-cichild oddball fish from what i hear.

A 75g would be a nice home for a Red Devil... but I would be worried he'd kill the bichir. It's a gamble. If you really want a RD, I say get one! They are fantastic fish!!!
