New 75 gallon ideas on set up

Getting a new 75 gallon tank soon to house my female jaguar 7 inch and my pacu 8 inch as well as an 11 inch pleco. I know the pacu will need bigger my lfs is going to buy him from me once he outgrows the tank but temporarily im just looking for any set up ideas. Why type of substrate what type of filter(s) and air pump. Thanks for the help

I use the cascade 1500, its pretty cheap and works really well.. Also very quiet, I got mine for $140

i just re-scaped my 75 gallon, i used black sandblasting sand mixed with white pool filter sand so it creates a salt & pepper look. Imo it looks great and doesnt show the poop as much as a plain color. As for the filter i would go for Rena XP3 since there $130 now at pet mountain, although if your like me and cant wait the 3-4 days shipping then print it out and take it to your local petsmart for a price match ;-)

Sounds like a good way to go do you have any pictures the sand sounds like it looks good I might want to go that that route
