okay i just got a 75g w/ stand, filter, light and 2 huge air pumps for $150. I need some suggestions as to what africans would be good and how many can fit in the 75g, i am open to all suggestions.

come on people need some suggestions!!!!

If you want just fish this is my fav. fish to have in one tank: Aulonocara's (Peacock Cichlids) with a nice rocky build up and a sandy bottom.

If you want tangs: both alto comps and calvus would be cool along with, Tropheus Duboisi, Ectodus descampsii (stay small though so maybe not), Neolamprologus brichardi, Xenotilapia, Cyathopharynx foai, Cyprichromis leptosoma, Chalinochromis sp. "ndobhoi", Neolamprologus helianthus, Neolamprologus leleupi, Neolamprologus olivaceous, Variabilochromis moorii. Thats my suggestion

If you want malawis then go with Mbuna.

Just dont mix tangs and malawis! =)

If you get lucky and find them howabout 3-5 Bathybates leo, hornii, or graueri. Schooling predators 10"-12" long. pics are from destin.tanganyika and DeVos
