ok i just bought a 75 gallon tank with a beautiful cherry stand and hood. so far ive bought 2 emporer 400s, 2 whisper 60 gallon tank pumps, i bought that bronze aztec gravel and dove white gravel from wally world and mixed it together for a lil spice lol, i have a 2 inch layer of it btw. 1 14 inch bubble wand, 2 4 inch bubble wands, and a 4 inch bubble stone, with like some artificial stumps and plants in there to give the fish somewhere to hide out...ill have some big rock dwellings as soon as i find some...and a 300w marineland stealth heater. there is nothing in the aquarium now but the rocks and wands and decor type stuff, no water yet. My question is...is this setup going to be suitable for a american cichlid tank setup. I know i probably made some hardware purchasing errors but im new to this and i have no idea what im doing except what ive read here and there google searching... ANY help and advice with this will be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU in advance!!:)

Wow, you really like bubbles. "American cichlid tank setup" is very broad. You'll get better advice if you're a little more specific about what you're planning to keep.

i plan on keeping central & south american cichlids. specifically the wolf and jaguar cichlid and jack dempsey. the reason i have 4 bubbling devices is because i thought thats how i aerated the water i read somewhere that you can never have too much aeration, im not really fond of bubbles but i just thought i had to have them for the fish to breathe...is this something i can do away with? are these types of fish going to be compatible? Is this setup up going to work?

I htink you can do away with the aerators. If you are running two filters you should be good. As far as stock goes....not sure, haven't gotten into the JD's....yet

Most people will tell you a 75gal is too small for even the jaguar, let alone tankmates. The dovii is definitely a no go. Bubbles are not really necessary, it's surface agitation that counts. You could ensure sufficient oxygenation just by directing the output of your filter towards the surface to agitate it a bit, or by using a hob filter. A bubble wand won't hurt anything, but 4 is not really doing you any good.

dude that is kind of a heart breaker, i was dead set on the wolf and jaguar...oh well, maybe i can find substitutes, thnx for your help though, better to find out now than later i guess
