I just got a used 75g tank it has a small drip in the bottom right corner in the back what could I used to seal it so it wont leak? Any one have experience in this?
Drain it, dry it and reseal it. Removing all old silicone and resealing it with new is the best way. Trying to just patch over old stuff not a good idea, but have seen it done....
be sure its the tank first and not a split filter pipe or water coming from elsewhere... geta big polybox for your stock and substrate and decor, use filters and keep your bb alive if it comes to resealing it.
if it does come to reseal you can use masking tape to get a straight edge on your silcone work 10mm away from joint each side, apply a small bead on the joint then dip ya finger in water and smooth it off, remove the tape straight after
