This weekend I picked up my new 75 gallon tank for $100!:nilly: im totally psyched.:chillpill: it has an eheim canister filter and two undergravel filters. both work really well, after a really really thorough cleaning. the owners said it had problems, but the problem was that there was so much fish poo, that the filter created a 3" thick layer of pudding in the bottom of the filter. :irked:

but, luckily I cleaned out everything and replaced tubing on everything and the tank is good as new. the tank came with 30 guppies and a few other small fish. it also came with a HUGE pleco. its name is "Pleca", named by the previous owners daughter. haha. (pictures below).. I introduced a veil tail tiger oscar with awful fins and HITH. im hoping he heals up soon and gets along with the rest of his tank mates.

Then, I have a redtail catfish that i picked up a few months ago and kept it in my dads tank. he ate all of his guppies and crayfish in no time. he is now quite the little cutey. the tank is right beside me and the pleco just tried to swallow him I think. hahahahaha. I didnt realize how scary a pleco can be.

well, enjoy the pics!!!

0.- are you stalking me???

no worries mate, im just holding the oscar until it heals up a bit, then giving it to a guy at the LFS. and catfish is going to get a new home, hopefully in the next 6 months...he would need it

is this pleco going to keep growing? hahaha I hope not. and the catfish has future plans already

Stunning red tail catfish and that plecs huge what is he 16 - 18 inches ?

Thank you!
we measured him and hes 16 1/2 inches. if he hits 18" were going to have to find him a new home for sure.
