Scored this 80 gallon frag tank at my local lfs for a good deal. 4 x 2 footprint with an overflow. Figured it would be perfect for a pup grow out tank and I just got a pup that will be going in soon

Nice man they grew on me as well.... I got 2 of the 80s haha 1 rimless 1 not... I prefer the height and width over length lol..... I would drop the water level a few inches at least tho.... pups love to surf
Exactly! All about the footprint lol. Yea the rimless has been sitting there for awhile so was able to talk them down on the price and throw in the stand for free Oh for sure. That’s was just everything hooked up and making sure it’s running right. Still gotta play with the returns/ waterheight some. And yea I think you were one of the first people I saw using them.
Mine swim upsidedown all the time and stick there disks half out of the water threw a little bit that is not coveres
