well i just got a new 7" aba over the weekend. i haven't had much success with then in the past; my last one was killed by a slightly larger american eel, the one before that was kill by a similar sized bichir. this time i think i have taken out all of the aggressive fish.

anyway, he's in a grow out tank so i'd like to power feed this guy and get him big fast. any suggestions? how often should i feed him? and what type of food?

i was thinking beef heart, smelt and krill twice a day. then do 2 water changes per week.

any tips would be appreciated

Used to have a 20 inch aba2.... it jumped out of the aquarium and died.. argh... but anyhow, it used to eat feeders but the problem is, it will only eat the tail and up and leave the head of the feeders around, and making the water very very dirty... n smelly... but overall, very voracious fish! Grrrr.....
