New AC110 Media Set Up...

Hi Well I have made a new set up I dont know if its to much or not to stuff into my Ac110

Well what I did was

I used the Sponge on the bottom

Followed by 1 Liter of Sea Chem Matrix ( Just used 2 HBH Bags and filled both up. Then stuffed them into the second tray it was a pretty tight fit but i managed to get it in the second Tray perfectly...

Then the top layed I used Bio Max bags that are for the Ac110...

Everything is pretty much completly submerged.... Am I doing anything wrong with this set up?

Which has more surface area? the Aqua Clear Bio Max Bag for the AC110 or 1 liter of matrix?

Your set up will be fine. My advise is to do weekly or at least everyother week, cleanings of your AC110. Rinse the sponge under hot tap water and rinse the matrix and biomax in used tank water. Also if you cut your sponge in half lengthwise and stack the halves back in. This will make the sponge much easier to get all the waste out of it.

The biomax and matrix are pretty much eqaul on the level which we are using them.
