Hey guys, went to a fish store here to buy carps for my tank, and the vendor told me about some Jacundás costing 4 Dollars each.

Couldnt resist, and took four, which I think that 2 are female and 2 are male.
1 bigger and clearly colored, with a reddish belly (ok, this one cant be male), one clearly colored and 2 spangled (male?).
I believe that they are from the same species that I last posted here, collected in Ceará (northeast of Brazil).

I was aclimating them, so couldnt take decent pics, but here they go:

Thanks guys! The low price is because this fish here isn't very commercial, and they are relatively easy to collect.

People here are dumb. They send oscars and discus (as many other fish) overseas cheap like bananas, and after import them back with some different strain (albino, bronze, red tiger).

Actually I love native fishes in the way they are in nature, and hope people get this feeling too.
