I lost 2 Dats over the last few months, and I hate getting new fish in the winter, so I went out today to get some new fish as it was warmer out today. I pickup a 6" Tems to go with my 12" Orino; the Tems was the king of its tank at the store, and was trying to be boss of my tank, so my Orino has been chasing it all night to let it know who the boss is. No harm done though; the Orino could easily kill/eat it if it wanted to. I also got 8 red hooks to help keep the tank active.

Tems are gentle giants with massive appetites. Orion's are the most aggressive I have found out of all the species. Enjoy him while he is still that size because before you know it he will be this big and will be eating you out of house and home!

Lol, What? Have you owned a group of Wild kelberi's? My old group of kelberi's would murder my orinos, that's why I've haven't kept to many orinos. I've own a group of orinos to. Kelberi's, hands down, are the most aggressive cichla in the cichla world in a group. Single bass wise, I'd say a Peruvian mono.

Hah! YOur funny! Kelberi are the sissiest of all bass!
Orino's are by far more aggro! I had one lone orino in with some kelberi and it had to go.
Azuls are way tougher than kelberi as well.

Look at sevank's tank. HIs kelberi in there are weak compared to the azuls.

Sweet Orino OP! I'd worry more about the cloudy eye that Tem looks to have.

I have already turned up the temp and added salt, and has started to clear up, it actually looks like an oil slick over his eyes as it is multicoloured and on both eyes, but his vision is fine; his tank mate had the start of ICH. It also looks to have red eyes, so I can't wait to see if they stick around.
