After watching the video you posted, it appears he's not adjusted to his surroundings as he appears just a bit white and black. His Electric Blue colors will probably show once he's adjusted to his new surroundings. Otherwise he a great looking EBJD.

A name is rather a personal thing to me, so I'll let you decide.

wow nice EBJD. For a name how about fred.

When I got him he wasn't the most colorful in the group. I have noticed the colors starting to prevail. Thank you.

I have reduced the light cycle on the tank and have a natural light source supplying the plants with light. I Also put moon lighting on the tank and I have noticed a lot more color showing up on my little guy.

name him potatoe

I had a buddy who named his dog potato. Great dog.

Update on the EBJD. He is doing great very active the colors are coming through slowly but they are coming in. Very cool fish. He is currently in a 29 gallon planted tank. I would really like to get this guy used to aqua scape before he gets to old to have anything rooted and I am thinking of upgrading the 29 gallon to a 50 gallon. I also want to move everything to a 50 gallon because I could actually take the time to set the plants up properly. Not saying the plants aren't set up right I was just a little more rushed to do so then. Surprisingly the plants I have in my tank are doing really well considering they are planted in sand. I would also like to add another EBJD. My buddy still has some fry EBJD that are getting very colorful and a great excuse to have more then one fish in a 50 gallon tank. Or should I go with a blue gene female JD?
Not to interested in breading but the relationship of the two fish might be fun to watch. JD's in general are fun to watch. If you guys ave some input please post if not I got my post in so the mods will leave me alone.:D
