New addition today..... Synspilum????

I picked this up at a lfs today. The tank was labled Synspilum among other C. American cichlids. This fish is quite young so I hope it is what they said it was?
Any input would be helpful if anyone has pics or have had these fish as juvies. I have been wanting some of these for some time and the little booger looked like he or she needed a good home.

Nope-Cryptoheros septemfasciatus male more than likely.

can you get a closer side pic? it's not a synspilum, that's for sure. definitely looks like a Cryptoheros or Archocentrus. from these pics I'll say either spilurum or spinosissum.

looks like a jade eyed cichlid to me quite attractive and relatively peaceful. If it was sold to you as a synpilum then you may wnat to mention this to the lfs.
