what's the price of these going for in Canada nowadays?

The prices on all fish are high in Alberta. This guy was $1200. Got him for 30% off though so that was nice. The Asians range from $700-$3000 for small ones. That's fish store prices.

Nice specimen. How big is the tank? I see them all the time at my lfs and fall in love with them but my largest tank is a 55. I'd like to upgrade in the future.

It's a custom 190 gallon 54"x34" footprint. I'll be looking at building a 450 gallon in the near future but he'll be fine in that one for quite a while.

Got him from a LFS in Calgary. About a 3 hour drive from here but the only LFS here that carries Asians don't have a health guarantee on them and their prices are outrageous. So it was worth the drive.

Quick question. When I got this guy he was only eating superworms. Should I try to ween him onto frozen and then pellets or go straight to pellets?
