Now I'm paranoid had him for a month guess the way I have the tank set up I have driftwood right under the heater which deter's him from glass surfing there. Going and getting a heater cover..lol

Get a new heater if possible. Im sure you spent 200 300 400 or more on the ray at least not sure pricing as where i live theres a bit of a premium lol but not worth that moisture in the heater if it malfunctions and kills the ray. Nothing worse than a fish dying from something cheap and easy fix. Great pick up.

Update had a spare Jager heater changed it out also ordered guard none at LFS thanks for the guidance.
