a pair of baby oscars and a bichir. i dunno what kind it is so can someone fill me in on that?

oscars were 8$ a piece and the bichir cost me 35$

oh and a new sand subsrate, the pink tint in the grave lwas starting to piss me off so i changed to white sand i like it so far cept the cloady water itll disapear after a water change.

I wanted to quarintine these fellas but my dad was being a dick about it.

said it would be to much electricity. but all would be running woul be a penguin bio-wheel and that consumes what only afew watts? heater isnt need this time of year, waters nice and warm and they would only be quarintineed for about 3 weeks

and he told me if the tank got infected with something he said he would buy the medicine. SO my ignorant dad is going to ( if something happens) spend 40 bucks on medicine and cause my other fish unnessasary suffering, When he could spend nothing on a quarintine tank I aleady have and would set up in like 10 minute and get em nice and healthy. and if they did fall ill it would be isolated and traetment would be alot cheaper. i would think it would cost alot less to treat a 40 gal for 7 days than treat a 180 for 7 days, dont you think!?

I would not worry about it too much...If it is a reputable fish store, they always quarentine the fish that come in anyway....But I would just watch them and see if any nasty little things happen to them! As long as you did not dump the fish store water into the tank, you should be good to go!

Thats a great price for that guy! You practically stole it from them! I have seen some go for 65 bucks at that size here! GREAT! They get nice & big too...about 2 feet in length!
