Thanks everyone. I was really happy to get these guys, rare cichla are not easy to find at the size I need them. Trying to avoid setting up additional growout tanks. The first pic was with a 24" single tube fluorescent the second it with a 48" t5 twin tube both with 10k bulbs but everything comes off really green.
The plants are just stuff from michaels (the craft store chain), needed big plants but not at fish store prices.
I'm loving the azuls they're eating machines, eating floating food sticks and pellets...I couldn't ask for anymore convenience. Now I just need a couple kelberi and I'll be done...I swear
