Just added a Convict and 2 T-Bar cichlids to my setup (see sig). I think I might be pushing the stocking levels a bit, no aggression at the moment but the fish are all still pretty small. Any chance this could work long term?

T-bars are great, if they pair up then maybe problems.convict might bully them too.your stock is small now, but I don't think that list will work long-term.do you plan to upgrade? Oscar alone will be tough on the bioload, and could eat a t-bar as he outgrows it

The T-Bars are both female so no chance of them pairing up lol.. I will upgrade but it could be a few months before that happens, I don't mind multiple water changes as I'm already doing 2 40% water changes weekly (could get away with one). What would you recommend cutting out?

I would try for 3 cichlids.see what get along with each other.but as they mature, they can change attitude.if you can pick all M or F from what you have that might work.also if the con is M, he could try to pair with T-bars, they are closely related

If I was to thin out the stock down to the Blue Acara, Oscar and Bichir would I be able to add a Green Terror? I've got a friend looking to stock his 125 so I can rehome fish with him.

I have not kept GT, but I have read that blue acara and GT together is hit or miss.maybe severum? Oscar, acara, birchir

Had a gold Severum before, never really interested me.. Just kind of floated about lol.. If I went with the Oscar, GT and the Bichir is there another (easy to find) cichlid I could try? Might try the Acara and just have a few caves for it to escape to if the GT turns nasty.
