New additions

Just picked these up this week from a local guy that is in the process of moving and breaking down his 210. Guy did an amazing job growing these fish out. I was not able to take all of his fish due to my tank constraints. What are everyone’s thoughts on the first fish? After watching it for a few days I think I may have misidentified it. It is about 12-13 inches long. Both the VC and Empress are 8-9 inches.

Buccochromis spectabilis? That vc-10 is chunky. Nice pickups.

Originally I thought it was Malawi hawk in the original Facebook photos I saw. I am thinking Lepturus as the entire lower half is yellow.

I can’t help with the ID, but that milomo is beautiful!! Wish mine would color up

Thanks for the compliment. He looks even bettter now that he has settled into the tank. All three of the fish I got from him are gorgeous. And it sounds crazy but I honestly feel like all of the other haps in the tank have bulked up and put on size since the additions were made.

Where did you get those plants? Those are the nicest artificial plants I’ve seen
